What does the slang expression “Bachelor Apartment” mean?
Definition:
A flat with no bedroom; a studio apartment
For example:
“All I need is a bachelor apartment—I have very little furniture, and I’m not home much.”
Notes:
In the U.S., “studio” is the preferred term, but you may hear “bachelor pad.”
