What does the idiom “At the End of the Day” mean?
Definition:
In the final analysis; when all is said and done
For example:
“The insurgent candidate has been getting lots of attention, but at the end of the day a party insider will probably be nominated.”
Notes:
In business jargon this has been overused and is sometimes considered a cliché, but is still very common.
